
I plan to to this in the future, but I think I can upload custom textures or edit the ones that come with the game, but I would need an actual windows computer to do that. I also downloaded my version off the internet, so I never had the CD to test, so not sure how to run it off a disk. You can host local servers without issue, and joining online ones is easy (with a CD key). I was unable to really test Mods, or creating a dedicated server. You would need a real windows computer to do that
Custom Load screens and manual retexturing, unfortunately, I haven't been able to quick fix any textures, animations, or game setting (damage and health). dedicated_server.exe, so there is a file in the game folder named dedicated_server.exe, and It does allow you to adjust the settings of a server, but as far as being able to connect to it I have no idea how. A few sites said they have to be exe's, but even those wouldn't install, but i believe its a matter of running them in the right folder Mods, no matter what they never seem to work. The window stays small, but it takes up the whole screen and allows triple swipe to switch desktops) - See comments for more info Then when the game is opening, hit the window tab on the top of your screen, or use the keyboard shortcut for full screen mode, and hit fullscreen was the game starts. Full Screen (for good fullscreen, disable it, tons of tutorials online, but it's just a matter of finding it in the profiles folder then changing fullscreen_mode to 0. All videos, music, and maps that come stock with the game all run fine. Mods (to some extent, If i manually drop map files into the right folder I can sort of play them).
Single Player (it's a skirmish with bots, some mention of a campaign but there isn't one). Multiplayer (go to this link to find a list of running servers) - See comments for more info. upon moving the folder into the Wine Prefix>C_drive, it ran perfectly.
When I ran it the first time, nothing worked, I merely got a fatal error and a black screen.
